Students who come to Maastricht for the four year bachelor programme (not as an exhange student) are advised to contact a housing organisation called the 'Kamerburo' in their search of accomodation. The Kamerburo is an initiative of the Student Housing Foundation Maastricht. This foundation is a joint effort of the Hogeschool Zuyd, Maastricht University, the Jan van Eijck Academy and the three housing corporations of Maastricht; Maasvallei, Servatius and Woonpunt.

The Kamerburo helps students find accommodation of good and acceptable quality in and around Maastricht. The Kamerburo has data on approximately 2,700 rooms offered by the housing corporations. In addition, many private owners offer their accommodation (approx 8000 rooms etc.) to the Kamerburo for mediation.

Exchange students

International students who are taking part in a study abroad semester at Zuyd University can find accommodation at the Avant-Garde student dorms located at Vijverdalseweg 8 in Maastricht. The Avant-Garde dorms are furnished and have private showers and toilets. Shared facilities include a fully equipped kitchen: refrigerator, freezer, microwave and oven, laundry facilities and wireless internet. The monthly rent amounts to 350 euro all-in (plus a 500 euro deposit, to be paid in advance). It is only possible to rent these rooms for the full study exchange period (either one semester or one full academic year). Alternatively, accommodation can be reserved at the International House, which is run by the (SSH) Student Short Stay Maastricht. (Brouwersweg 100).Maastricht hospital was once located in this building. The rooms are spacious and furnished and the monthly rent ranges from 369 to 512 euro per month (depending on the size of the rooms; shared rooms are possible), which includes a cleaning service, wireless internet and 24/7 on-site security.
